God's grace is instant. The moment we ask for forgiveness and repent; turn from our old ways and surrender to him, God immediately forgives us. This is often at times hard to wrap our heads around, maybe its hard to forgive ourselves or maybe we can't understand how God could really forgive someone who has committed some unspeakable act against us our someone we love. Thank goodness He can and does. Imagine a current day Apostle Paul. A man on a mission to persucute and kill Christians. Now, really think about this; God turned a horrifying God forsaken man, by His GRACE into one of His greatest teachers, leaders, followers, writers and God fearing man to ever walk the earth. God wants to use everyone of use regardless of our past.. It boils down to one simple word: Choice. All He asks of us is to choose Him. God has given us example after example on how He uses extreme events and tragedy for His good.
This is why it is so important to have a decerning spirit. Just because we have failed, rebeled or wronged others doesn't mean we can't have a voice of "Credibility". When we have completely surrendered our lives to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, it then becomes His voice thru us that gives us the credibility we need to spread the Good News. At this point the doubt we may feel is only the enemy putting fear and doubt in us to stop God's GRACE.
May God's GRACE ingulf all of us every minute of everyday and gives us the courage to be bold in His name; ALWAYS.
